How to create a Battlefield 1942 Server?
Right, to create a Battlefield 1942 Server you must have the "Dedicated Server Manager" or the Battlefield-own Dedicated Server application. Run it, you find it normally in the Battlefield examination folder as "DedicatedServer.exe". Then you adjust your server settings and do the following steps, before clicking "Start".
Note: However you have a really good and fast computer, you need a very good Internet connection, recommended 2.5MB Upload for 16 players, 5MB Upload for 32 players and 10MB Upload for 64 players. DSL won't work here, you should have a LAN T1 connection! We recommend you also, to close all other applications while your server is running to ensure no connection problems will be caused by downloads and other uploads!

Now you have to open some ports and adjust that your Firewall isn't blocking these Ports, so that your server will be shown in the game server list:
- UDP Port 14567 (Battlefield Connect Port)
- UDP Port 22000 (Battlefield LAN Listen Port)
- UDP range/port 23000 -23009 (Battlefield Internet Listen Port's)
- UDP Port 27900 (GameSpy Master Server Heartbeat)
- TCP Port 28900 (GameSpy Master Server List Request)
- UDP Port 22000 (Battlefield LAN Listen Port)
- UDP range/port 23000 -23009 (Battlefield Internet Listen Port's)
- UDP Port 27900 (GameSpy Master Server Heartbeat)
- TCP Port 28900 (GameSpy Master Server List Request)
Now you just have to create a dedicated Server, (click "Start") and join your own Server in Battlefield (open a Battlefield instance and search your server in the list; then join it). Enjoy!
